Ben Wong
Executive Director
Ben Wong was born and raised in San Francisco; he attended San Francisco State University, Lincoln High School, and A. P. Giannini Middle School, and Sherman Elementary School. Before coming to the Beacon Center, Ben was the counselor and case manager at the Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center. He came to Chinatown Beacon in June 2001 as its executive director. He is still the director of Chinatown Beacon Center.
Now a little interview of Ben:
Q: What do you like about Beacon?
A: I like the staff and the young people are great to work with. The services the Chinatown Beacon provides are important.
Q: What is your hobby?
A: I enjoy long walks, walking my dog, hikes, skiing, reading, and spending some time with friends.
Q: What is your favorite food and fruit/vegetable?
A: vanilla ice-cream, and cantaloupe
Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: Lunch and Math
