Cooking

The Fuel! cooking program focuses on preparing healthy alternatives to common after school snacks. Each week's lessons focus on a key message. Past messages have included: use salt sparingly, drink water as your main beverage, and choose whole grains. With nutrition and cooking, our goal is not to ask the youth to not eat things they usually eat, but to help them make decisions as to how to make their food healthier.
