In September 2004, a group of eight young people worked with the Technology Integration Coordinator to begin rebuilding the Chinatown Beacon Center’s website. These young people began by brainstorming who they hoped would visit the site and what they wanted these visitors to see. They met weekly to collect content, develop the design, and upload and edit their work. Their product, this site, will continue to be a work in progress. In order for the Chinatown Beacon Center's virutal space to be useful to its children, youth, and families, the information must continue to be revised and updated.

Special thanks to Cindy Du, Chinatown Beacon Center's High School Technology Integration Intern, for spending many hours refining the site's design, updating content, and learning lots to develop this site.
